Hello,

If you're reading this, then I guess you already have a blogger/blogpsot account. If not that's Ok! You can get your Free Blog Here!

I'm also guessing that you have a Google Adsense account. If you don't, then you can get yours here and sign-up today.

Now that we have all that out of the way, and you're only here to learn how to add Google Adsense to your blog/blogger, let's continue.

First step to take when adding Google Adsense to your Blog/blogger

1. Log into your Blogger account.

2. Point your cursor and click on the "Layout" link under your blog name on the Dashboard. If there is no link, go to your Templates page for your blog and click the "AdSense" tab.

If you have clicked on the "Layout" link before, you will now be given a choice of where to place your advertisments. For example, if you want to put your ad in the side column click the "Add a Page Element" link in that column. If you want it at the bottom of the page, simply click the same named link at the bottom.

Now a new window will open, giving you the choice on the type of page element you want to add. Click the checkbox beside "AdSense". You will be taken to another page when you do that. Look for the "Sign in" link and click it. Here you will need to enter your Google AdSense login and password to log into your Google AdSense account.

Note: Those who had to click an "AdSense" tab in the first step will not have the choice of choosing where to place your advertisements. If that's the case for you, just skip to the next step.

Once you've signed in successfully, you will be taken to a screen that allows you to choose the size and color scheme of your advertisements. Another window underneath your selection shows you what your advertisement will look like.

When you're done, click the "Save changes" button.

That's it. When you next check out your blog, you should be able to see your advertisements.

Generating Free Traffic to you Website

Setting up a company naturally would require many resources. Your biggest and most costly resource would be capital. As the old saying goes, to earn money, you need money. But naturally, with the versatility that the Internet offers, there are many means which you could find that could help to optimize the potential of your site or businesses by producing free traffic.

There are many way to start driving free traffic to your website, many in which will cost your dearly. As a start-up website, we don't always have the money to spend on traffic. Creativity before capital is a motto we all should adopt.

Staying positive, focused and maintaining a good mindset will help you in your effort to drive free traffic to your site. Many sites have articles which offer ends and directives in the way of producing free traffic to their websites. Since it is possible, you do not need to spend hundreds of dollars. It will take time, to be honest. The other fact is that you have better chances by the paying your advertisements, but at least you obtain a chance with some of these free methods which I will offer to you.

Benefit from forums on-line and communities on-line related to your product or services. The large thing about the forum and of the communities on line is that you can aim at a certain group which adapts the certain demographic one that you seek. You can discuss a good number of things about the product/service which you represent or offer. Another great advantage is that you know your product or service and you cna be prepared to discuss with other members in the forum. Create your profile and add your website to your signature.

With the targeted communities on-line and forums you can establish a reputation for your company. Show them of what you are made and wow they with your range of expertise about the subject. With that you can establish a reputation and establish confidence with the people in your expertise and knowledge.

You can also make use of the bulletins. Provide the people a catalogue of your products and articles that are interesting and informative. If you make it really interesting and informative, more people will be registered for your bulletin and will recommend it to other people. The more the people who are registered for your bulletin, the more the people there will be who will go on your site increasing your traffic. Facebook.com and Myspace.com are great for these types of tactics.

Another great idea is link-exchanging with other sites related to your product or service. This will cost your nothing but a friendly email or private message in a forum asking to exchange links. You make an agreement with the webmaster of the site on the link exchange. (Where you put it, what it will say, etc.) This is a two way advantage for both sites. Visitors generally look for links while visiting. Your visitors will click on the links to visit the other site and vice versa. This functions well particularly when the two sites comprise of the same service.

Write articles about your website, product or service. Share them in your forums with other webmasters and ask for advice. There are many article directories that offer the free submission of your articles. When people find the interest for your articles they have a good possibility of following the way to discover where the article started. Include your website link or a short description of your company with the article and there will be great chance that they will go on your site.

Write only good content for your site. Many search engines detect the key words and the expressions of key word your uses of site and how they are employed. It is not a condition which contents should be made by a professional content author. You could do yours it yourself but you must include the contents of your site which should again be informational. You should provide certain conditions as well as great quality.

Generally, search engines used by Net surfers are looking for certain keywords. With the use of good key words, you will generate traffic to your site with out the cost of a penny.

Another method used in generating free traffic is posting on blogs related to your product. When you leave a post, you can leave your website address. This is usually tied into your name that you leave. Always leave comments that are honest and informative. Not like. "Great!" of "I agree". Leave a comment that will entice visitors to click on your website link/signature.

All these methods and more will lead more traffic to your site for free. Take advantage of the forums and ASK QUESTIONS!! Do not be afraid. There are many seasoned webmasters who enjoy offering their thoughts and expertise on the subjects especially driving traffic to your site.

Good luck!

Why is Having You Own Domain Name Important?

Here we will discuss the importance of you own domain name. Recently, Yahoo announced that Geocities will be closing their free web hosting service. This means that thousands if not hundreds of thousands of websites will be lost forever. It seems that the economic climite along with the increasing number of social networks has forced Yahoo to close Geociites and is now encouraging account holders to upgrade to their paying service. Which in my mind is OK, but what happens to all the visitors and links that you have scattered throughout cyvberspace that relied on coming to your domain name? Even if your site was let's say, www.geocities.com/vintagechina/, chances you are not going to be able to register vintagechina.com. In fact, I just checked over at Dotster.com and it's already taken. Even if you did get it, how will your return visitors find you?

This is one reason why having your own domain name is important. Even if you change web hosts, you can take your own domain name with you to another host, and no one will ever know the difference.

Another reason is credibility. Visiting a auction site such as angelfire.com/myauctionsite doesn't hold the same weight as eBay.com.

Advertisers also like their products and services listed on a good domain name.

If you own a company, it's always easier to remember your company name through your domain name and having your product or service in your domain name is also a plus. I'll give you an example. I started a World War 2 Directory. Guess what my domain namie is? Right. www.worldwar2directory.com. Guess what page the directory comes up on when you type World War 2 directory on Google? I won't tell you. You can try it yourself.

To summarize the importance of your own domain name:

1. You own the right to that domain name.
2. You can take it with you if you change web hosts.
3. Credibiltiy.
4. Easy to remember.
5. Create your own domain name related to your product.

How Do I Create a Website?

How do I create a website? How do I make money with a website? Are two of the most asked questions by people on the Internet today. It's a very good question. Wouldn't it be nice to have your very own website? Other frequently asked questions include: What is a domain name? What is a web host? Is it expensive to create a website? How do I edit my website? Hopefully I will be able to answer all your questions here.

Before you create a website, you need to have an idea of what the website will be about. I strongly suggest you do not create a website strictly to make money or create a website because someone told you you can make money with it. Do not choose a topic that you really have no knowledge about. You want to create a website on a topic that you have an interest in. Something you're very knowledgeable in or have a passion for. It can be anything. If you like to needle point, and you know a great deal about it, then that's your niche. If you're a mom, then create a site about your experiences with your children. New moms and moms-to-be are always looking for mothers with experience that can offer good advice with babies and early childhood.

Here are some other suggestions for a website or blog.

1. Childcare
2. Photography
3. Sports
4. Music or Favorite Band or Artist
5. Your Parents LOL
6. Your Favorite Hobby
7. Trading Card Collection
8. Review Your Favorite Movies
9. Review Your Favorite Books
10. School - Elementary, High School or College

The first thing you'll want to do is get a domain name. The domain name is the URL of your website. All websites start with http://www. The name after that is the name of your site and can be followed by .com, .info, .us. The most common you will see is .com. You can call your site whatever URL is available, but I highly recommend using the topic of your site in your domain name. For instance, if your site is about Old Toys and you want to start a Forum, then your could use something like www.oldtoysforum.com as an example. This way, when visitors come to your site, they can pretty much tell what your site is about. Also, search engines such as Google, MSN and Yahoo like these types of domain names. GoDaddy.com is one of the biggest and most reliable registrars for domain names. Registration is free and once you register, you can search for a name and see if its available. GoDaddy.com usually costs $10.00 to register plus a 20 cent fee for a .com name or you can even get a .info name for as little as .99 cents. Other popular registrars are Dotster.com and 1&1 Internet. You may also want to get your own Paypal account. Paypal is a secure way to pay for your domain name and Paypal is accepted universally in the Internet world. Re-registration every year after that is usually $10.00. You basically now "own" the right to use that name that you've chosen. Now this is just the name. It is not a website or blog. Just the name for your new website.

Once you've gotten your domain name, you will need to get a web hosting service. A web host is a service that will allow you to store your website on their server where you can then edit or add content to your site. There are hundreds of web hosting services on the Internet. Hostgator, Lunarpages and Junaweb are three examples of services to "host" your site where you can do your uploading and editing. These range from $2.95 per month to $25.00 per month depending on what type of service you want. I have several sites and pay $1.99 a month with Junaweb on a shared server.

I am very interested in World War 2. One of my first sites that I put together was a World War 2 Directory. The original script and template that I used I got free from PHP Link Directory. You can download a free version php 2.2 and they have dozens of templates to download as well. I liked the site so much that I upgraded to the php3.2version that I paid $25.00 for. You need to keep their link on the bottom of the page. If not, the script would cost $75.00. I then collected hundreds of the best WWII website links on the Internet. I submitted the site to DMOZ.org and was recently accepted into their prestigious site.

The template, which is the actually site you see, is called professional and comes with the PHPLD script. PHP link Directory has a forum where designers and webmasters post ideas and other templates that they designed. I downloaded the greenish theme and uploaded it to the site for free. The WWII banner I made myself with Banner Creator, which is also free.

The only manual part is creating the categories and sub-categories. The ads you see are from Google AdSense. You need to register a Google account and you can then place the ads for free on your site. They are called PPC ads or pay-per-click ads. When someone clicks on the add, you get paid which goes into your personal Google account. Depending on what your site is about, you could earn from $1.00 to $5.00 per click. Please be warned that you cannot click on your own ads or you will get banned from Google AdSense. Your must read there Terms of Service once you are registered for an account. There are other ways to make money such as website affiliates (amazon or even eBay) or selling books from a site called Click Bank You could also rent ad-space if someone is willing to pay and eventually sell the site if someone is interested.

If you looking to get started right away without domain names, hosting accounts or web design, you can start your own Blog for free just by registering with Google. You can create your own blogger or blogspot account and start blogging about anything you'd like and the best part is that it's free!

That's all the easy part. The hard part is getting your site noticed or "ranked" in Google, Yahoo and MSN and get targeted visitors. The site is live & launched. If you look on the bottom of my site there is a banner with worldwar-2.net. That site is ranked a "5" by google. That means it will probably come up on the first page of Google if you type the key words World War 2. I've asked to exchange website links with this site. I have not heard from them yet. Most webmasters are willing to trade links with other webmasters. Some won't. If a site gets 500,000 visitors a year, chances are they will click on your link and go to your webpage. You can even download a free e-book on how to get 100 visitors a day in three weeks. You can also get your 10 FREE ADSENSE READY WEBSITES. All 10 top niche sites for free so you can get started right away.

It sounds very complicated but it's really not. You must be committed if you want your site to gain visitors and rank high in the search engines. It does take a lot of time though. Holly Mann wrote an e-book called Honest Riches. It's a very good read. She gives her ideas on how she became a millionaire from the Internet. Of course, she is one in 100 million who have actually made BIG money. I am not trying to discourage you, but to make money you must be committed to work on your site everyday, promote it and fill it with rich content. You want return visitors to your site. If your site offers helpful information, visitors are likely to return.

Good luck with your website creation experience. Come back or bookmark this article for future reference.
